Maine Coastal and Marine Climate Fund Application Due

The Maine Coastal and Marine Climate Fund is now accepting applications for projects that monitor, conserve, and build the resilience of Maine’s coastal and marine ecosystems. Grants range from $20,000 to $200,000 and can support planning, research, convenings, and monitoring efforts with actionable results—including potential policy outcomes. 

Eligible project types include: 

·     Coastal habitat resilience and restoration (e.g., salt marsh, eelgrass, seaweed) 

·     Ocean and coastal acidification monitoring and mitigation 

·     Blue carbon and marine emissions research
