Maine Infrastructure Adaptation Fund Applications Due

The Maine Department of Transportation has opened a new round of funding

through the Maine Infrastructure Adaptation Fund (MIAF), supporting projects that

strengthen community infrastructure against climate impacts like flooding, sea level

rise, and extreme storms. Eligible applicants—including municipalities, tribal

governments, and infrastructure districts—can apply for funding for planning,

design, and construction projects, with awards up to $3 million.
