2023 Municipal Stream Crossing Program Overview
Midcoast Council of Governments (MCOG), Maine Audubon, and the Nature Conservancy have created an informational video to assist municipalities with the grant application process for Maine Department of Transportation's (MaineDOT) Municipal Stream Crossing Program. This video begins with an overview of the program and types of projects that are a good fit, followed by a step-by-step walkthrough of the application and requirements, and ends with some anticipated questions and answers. This video is intended to compliment the information available on MaineDOT's website: https://www.maine.gov/mdot/grants/stream/

This first portion covers special presentations by: Erik Pages of Entreworks regarding "The Amenity Trap" Charlotte Nutt of MCOG going over housing data in the Midcoast region and a panel discussion moderated by Mathew Eddy consisting of: Debora Keller from Bath Housing Authority Denise Needham of Pen Bay Medical Center and Waldo County General Hospital Martin Cates of Cates Real Estate We did have technical issues in this part of the meeting that we were able to address in Part 2.
